Fitcorp U.S.A. Inc. has become aware of a consumer scam claiming individuals are a Grand Prize Winner in the "Readers Digest Sweepstake" (sic). A number of individuals have reported receiving letters that they have won a large sum of money but are required to send payment for a "clearance/processing fee". Along with the letter they have received a Fitcorp check. Fitcorp U.S.A. Inc. has not sponsored any such sweepstakes or drawing. The check to cover the alleged fees is a forgery and invalid and will not be honored if presented to our bank. If you receive such a letter and check it is a scam. Do not make any payments or provide any information to the individuals at the phone number on the letter.
